“A learned scholars once taught me that, an Idea whose time has come can never be stopped by any storms no matter how strong they are – and I believe this is the time for recognition to be given to a people whose music gives us solace, a sense of who we are and what our purpose is in life. It was seven years ago when my little girl Reabetsoe was born that the Lord imprinted a vision in me that today has given birth to Gospel Genesis and The first ever All South Africa Gospel Music Awards. It started as a great Sound Based idea whose role it was to reach as many a people as possible whilst enabling them to have their voices heard and recognized. This vision as it graduated, it became clearer and clearer to me and at the end culminated into Seven areas of focus that after Seven years of development, on the tenth month and on the fortieth day became visible as a sign of a new life and the evidence of what I have been hoping for and now a revelation to every African under the African skys

“This day was to come and has now come that gospel music can be celebrated freely without a fear of being swallowed by others and disappear into oblivion. It is my intention to cherish this God given vision and with the help of the One and Only, take it to heights that gospel music and gospel sound has never been taken to before; Watch this space”. There will be the National Gospel Music Festival and the All South Africa Gospel Music Awards (THE OLIVE AWARDS) next year which will be preceded by Provincial Gospel Talent Searches (GOSPEL STARS) where all unrecorded, up and coming provincial gospel groups will be given an opportunity to participate .
