In The Begining:
In mid 1996 after the birth of my lovely daughter, Reabetsoe Katlego Basia, as
a Dad again, it became tradition
that every Sunday morning on the first day of the week after Sabbath, I would wake up
early to prepare breakfast for the family, with the view to have what I
then crowned, a weekly family reunion where the entire family would seat
and have breakfast together. This lovely break fast would then be followed
by a half day long viewing of Television Gospel Programmes (Music and Preaching).
As this became a norm, I would wake up, take a shower in the morning
and in the process start singing a gospel song, perhaps brought to mind
by the fact that it was a day where the entire house was filled with nothing
else but gospel sounds, from music to preaching. As I would be enjoying
the water under the shower, the singing would grow louder and louder to
the irritation of my wife and the wakening up of the newly born baby.
I became so regular in doing this to the extent that my family had prepared
their ears for every Sunday morning abuse of their "freedom of long sleep".
